A dentist who undertakes the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of irregularities in the teeth, jaws in the jaws and the irregularities in the face is called a orthodontist and those who have received special education after 5 years dental education are called orthodontists. Orthodontist corrects the mal-positions of teeth and jaws using various instruments. The main goal is to provide a healthy occlusion  a beautiful facial aesthetic and an impressive smile.  Orthodontics Department deals with growth and development, functional anomalies and treatments, fixed treatments, orthognathic surgery applications, lip palate clefts.Orthodontics education at the undergraduate level begins with theoretical lectures and laboratory studies in the third grade and continues with clinical applications in grades 4 and 5.  Doctoral studies last a minimum of four years, during which time PhD students are actively involved in scientific research as well as clinical practice.
